LAST MONTH'S MINUTES for the Board of Directors Meeting on May 6, 2007 were approved.
TREASURER: No new balance report for June. The balance as of May 6, 2007 was $4,462.52
MEMBERSHIP: The total membership is 93.
HOSPITALITY: It was suggested to have the hospitality provided for by different members on a rotating basis. Bill Kurtz said that he was okay with handling it for the time being. This may be addressed again at some future time.
The July PROGRAM will be a field trip to the Ruth Bancroft Gardens in Walnut Creek on Sunday, July 8. Afterwards, the club has been invited to Karla and Bill Munkacsy's house in Alamo for a BBQ-Potluck.
LIBRARY: Nothing new to report.
AFFILIATE: It was asked if Carole Keeton could check into having our Spring and Fall Shows advertised in the CSSA journal.
MINI SHOW: Results to be posted in July's newsletter. We changed the format to a show-and-tell approach. Instead of having the plants judged, the presenter of the plant will get up and talk about the plant instead.
FALL SHOW: October 5-6 at Buchser School in Santa Clara.
BY-LAWS: Nothing new to report.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 A.M.
There will not be a Board meeting for July. The next meeting will be on August 5, 2007, at the Prusch Park Meeting Hall at 10:30 A.M.
