Call to Order by President Linda Delgado at the Prusch Park Meeting Hall at 10:40 A.M.

LAST MONTH’S MINUTES for the Board of Directors Meeting on March 2, 2008 were approved.
TREASURER: The balance as of May 4, 2008 is approximately $13,500
MEMBERSHIP: Two new members this month. With renewals, the total membership is now 90 people.
HOSPITALITY: Judy has volunteered to take care of the hospitalities until this June. Thanks Judy!!
The May PROGRAM will be a presentation on Bromeliads by club member, Roger Lane. A motion was proposed and approved to pay Roger $50 for being the guest speaker. The June PROGRAM will be a tour of the Arizona Gardens at Stanford by Chief Groundskeeper, Herb Fong.
LIBRARY: A new book, "Pachyforms II, Bonsai Succulents", was donated to our club by its authors, Rudy Lime and Philippe de Vosjoli.

GUADALUPE PARK GARDEN is doing well. Tony Bassano has been taking care of our garden plot. He is looking for volunteers to help him maintain it.
MINI SHOW: The mini-shows are back in place for 2008. Results will be published in the courier. We’ve had positive feedback that people like sharing their stories!
SPRING SHOW: April 12-13 at Buchser School in Santa Clara went very well. We did not fill up all the vendor tables this year, though, but the overall profit was good.
FALL SHOW: October 4 & 5 for the Fall Show and Sale. This will be a People’s Choice Show.
BY-LAWS: Linda and Sandy have volunteered to spearhead the updating of our Operating Procedures and our By-Laws this calendar year.
