ADVISORY MEETING MINUTES

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

August 7, 2005

Call to Order by President Bill Munkacsy at the Prusch Park Meeting Hall at 10:40 A.M.

LAST MONTH’S MINUTES: The minutes were not reviewed.

TREASURER: The current bank account balance is $7,748 as of August, 2005. We are still waiting for the custodial charges for our show and sale.  We will then be able to see how much of a profit we made.

MEMBERSHIP: We thought that we would have four new members at our meeting. They didn’t show up.

HOSPITALITY: No report.

PROGRAM: No report.  September will be the Country Store. October is open.

LIBRARY:  Nothing new to report.

AFFILIATE:  No report.

MINI SHOW:  No report.  Judy came in later and Bill was going to ask her about this.

ANNUAL SHOW:  Tony Bassano is working on the final fiscal information for the Show and Sale. We still need the custodial charges.  Chuck mentioned that the use of signs on vehicles is not restricted.  We may look into this.  Bill M. said that he thought we would have three new vendors at our next show and sale.  They are: Plantopia, Succulent Garden (Robin Stockwell) and Pate (a potter from Stockton.)

BY-LAWS:  No report.

NEW BUSINESS: We talked about Home and Garden Shows.  Rowena has sold at them in the past and felt that they weren’t cost effective.

OLD BUSINESS: Nothing to report.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:15 A.M.

The next Board meeting will be on September 11, 2005, at the Prusch Park Meeting Hall at

10:30 A.M.
